What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

What students are saying

I really like how supportive and flexible the Bridge program is. As someone who works part time, I find myself taking advantage of my evenings and days off to work on projects. Everyone gets to move at their own pace and set their own goals. That's the beauty of this program.
- Victor, Bridge Student
Bridge is different from a traditional school experience – it’s more supportive and focused on your growth. I work 1:1 with my coach to find the right balance so I stay motivated and positive.
- Angelica, Bridge student
Students can explore who they are as learners on their own terms. No tests, no grades – our students set their own goals, and it’s my job to support their achievement. Students also learn real life skills that they can apply to their future careers, so their journey becomes about more than just learning content.
- Shelly Gleason, College Coach

Frequently asked questions

Is Rivet School a university? If not, how does Rivet School help students earn an accredited bachelor’s degree? What institution will appear on my diploma?

Icon chevron

Rivet School is not a university. We partner with accredited universities to enable our students to earn bachelor’s degrees. Currently, our main degree partner is Southern New Hampshire University. Southern New Hampshire University (or SNHU) is a private, nonprofit university established in 1932 and located in Manchester, New Hampshire (not far from Boston).

Rivet School students enrolled in SNHU participate in a special online program called College for America, which SNHU launched in 2014 in partnership with the United States Department of Education and the Gates Foundation. Students graduate Rivet School with an accredited bachelor’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University and with a certificate of completion from Rivet School itself.

Are Rivet School’s degree programs accredited?

Icon chevron

Yes. We only partner with regionally accredited, nonprofit universities. (Regional accreditation is the highest form of accreditation, and credits earned through regionally accredited programs are the most likely to transfer.)

So what does Rivet School do, and what do its degree partners (like SNHU) do?

Icon chevron

Our university partner (SNHU) provides a flexible, online, and accredited degree program for our students. This includes feedback from instructors who review student work. University partners also manage the financial aid process, and provide tech support and other academic resources. Rivet School pairs students with a personal academic coach, helps students stay on track through structured programming, provides tutoring when students get stuck, offers supplemental career coaching and training, and provides resources like a laptop, childcare, and coworking space, and more. While we play different roles, Rivet School and our university partners work closely to provide fellows a seamless learning experience.
