Earn your BA in as little as 2-3 years, for an average of $10K total, and without leaving your job. Do your work online — and get real-world support, right here in the South Bay.
As a College Coach, Myiah supports Rivet School students to their bachelor’s degree. She aims to be a helping hand with logistics, academics, and motivation.
Myiah has been an educator since the age of 15, when she found a summer job working at a preschool. For the past seven years, Myiah has taught kindergarten and school-aged children. When she’s not immersed in supporting students through higher education, Myiah likes to spend her time with music, family, good reads, or good television.
Myiah grew up in the Bay Area — right next door to Rivet School’s HQ in Richmond. In common California form, she enjoys getting outside for beach days, hikes, parks, mountains high and valleys low. Want to bike a trail? Ask Myiah which one!
No. As a Rivet School student living in the South Bay, you'll be able to take advantage of extra resources like coworking space, group study sessions, and in-person meetings with a coach. But you're not required to utilize these resources and, like all Rivet School students, you can complete your entire learning experience online, if you so choose.
If you move away from the South Bay, you may not be able to take advantage of Rivet School's place-based resources in San Jose (like coworking space, study sessions, and in-person coach meetings). But you can still remain a Rivet School student, and you'll be able to complete your degree entirely online.
No! Through our partnership with the Sobrato Family Foundation, we're able to provide these place-based resources to students at no additional cost.
